Why not visit our gallery and extend your stay on the fringe of
the Lake District National
Park? We have two lovely holiday cottages
adjacent to our gallery – Coach House and Grooms Cottage. Both have living accommodation the first
floor to take advantage of the wonderful views over the Solway Firth – great
sunsets unbeaten worldwide!
The
cottages are themed with African Art, and both sleep up to 4 people – one
double and one twin bedroom in each.
Cot available on request - highchair and stair-gate standard. Well behaved dogs and other pets are welcome
on request. Coach House has an extra
mezzanine floor which can accommodate one extra person if required.
All linen,
towels, services included in the rent.
The cottages are also equipped with telephone, modem point, CD players,
dishwasher, microwave oven, washing machine, TV and video player, barbecue
available and garden. Off road parking.
Lovely
rural location, easy access to the Lakeland Fells, Solway beaches and Hadrian’s
Wall (Roman Wall and remains). There
are some wonderful examples of local art in the area too – gallery trail
available.
Walking,
mountain biking, sailing, fishing, wind surfing (the best at Allonby), and
horse riding all within easy distance.
Pubs, restaurants and shops all in the local area.
Bird Watching treat: All within 20 miles- Golden eagle at
Ennerdale, Osprey at Bassenthwaite, Puffins at St Bees, and 35 species of bird
(including Barn Owls
) in our
garden.
